1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Kaijin, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these terms as the service develops. Material updates will be reflected by the date shown on this page.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, safeguarding your credentials and activity performed through your account. Kaijin is not intended for children under 13. Some creator or payment features may require additional age or identity requirements.
3. Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of the original stories, artwork and other content you create. When you publish content on Kaijin, you grant Kaijin a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce and distribute that content only as needed to operate, promote and improve the platform. You may remove unpublished content, subject to normal backup and legal-retention periods.
4. AI-assisted features
Kaijin may offer tools that generate creative suggestions or text. Outputs may be inaccurate, inconsistent or similar to material produced for others. You are responsible for reviewing, editing and confirming that anything you publish complies with applicable law and does not infringe another person’s rights. AI assistance does not transfer ownership of your original project to Kaijin.
5. Content standards
You may not upload or publish content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, exploits minors, promotes targeted hatred, contains non-consensual intimate material, or is intended to harass, deceive or harm others. Kaijin may restrict or remove content and accounts that violate these standards.
6. Third-party material
You must have the necessary rights to every reference, image, font, asset or other material you upload. Third-party services used through Kaijin may have separate terms. You are responsible for reviewing those terms when they apply.
7. Platform access and availability
We work to keep Kaijin reliable, but features may change, be interrupted or be discontinued. Do not treat Kaijin as the only storage location for irreplaceable source files. Maintain your own backups of important creative work.
8. Termination
You may stop using Kaijin at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse or address a violation of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Kaijin is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that creative suggestions or platform availability will meet every requirement. Kaijin is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the service where such exclusions are legally permitted.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms, creator rights or content moderation can be submitted through the Contact page or sent to support@kaijin.com.
